An exciting immersive art/movement/music class is coming to kiddywampus!

Playscape/Artscape: Wednesdays 5-5:40pm

Sept 11 - Oct 30 (8 Weeks) Ages 7-13

"Playscape/Artscape" is a Segni Mossi inspired innovative Art, Movement, and Music class presented by "Playing With Music" which investigates the interaction between movement of the body, sound, and visual representations using large sheets of paper, oil pastels, and the human body.

Proposals invite collaboration, playfulness, inquisitiveness and experimentation. Children will make friends, learn new skills, and engage in an interdisciplinary way of working. Deep multi-layered experiences consider experimentation as a working method and lingers on the creative process rather than on the result.

The learning environment in "Playscape/Artscape" is art in a social setting, and it stimulates critical thinking and aesthetic feeling simultaneously. No expertise or specific skill sets art required to participate and enjoy.

It is based on Playing With Music's unique collaborative approach, helping to inspire and grow the next generation of creative people.
